School holidays: Full-time, 8am – 6/7pm
Location: Herne Hill – Eventually moving to Dulwich
Salary:£34k – £40k gross per year
Children: B5, G2 at start

Real Nannies are seeking a warm, fun, playful and sociable Daily Nanny to care for two children in Herne Hill. The family have had their current nanny for over two years and are very sad to see her go.
 

The ideal candidate will be confident, loving, kind and fun, with the ability to hit the ground running. Someone active who enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature and finding local, age-appropriate activities will fit into this family perfectly.
 

Both Mum and Dad work full-time from the office and are looking for a down-to-earth nanny who can support them through the transition of Mum returning to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sole-charge care of two children, aged 5 and 2

  • Foster a calm, caring, positive and emotionally supportive environment

  • Provide attentive, engaging and developmentally appropriate care

  • Confidently cook and meal plan for the children

  • Proactively plan age-appropriate activities, outings and routines

  • Support the parents during the transition of Mum returning to work

  • Maintain excellent communication with the parents throughout the day

  • Encourage curiosity, confidence and independence

  • Most importantly, have fun, create lots of laughter and enjoy everyday life with the children!
     

About the Family

The family are super social, friendly and very family-orientated. They have had their current nanny for over two years and are understandably very sad to see her go.

They value the role of a nanny immensely and have loved working collaboratively with their current nanny as part of the family team.
 

Laughter, playfulness and not taking life too seriously are important to them. They love leaning into their children's interests and encouraging them to explore, learn and have fun.
 

They follow a gentle parenting approach while recognising that clear boundaries and limitations are important too. They place a big emphasis on understanding and supporting their children's emotions, particularly during more challenging moments.
 

This is a super warm and loving family looking for a long-term nanny who genuinely loves working with children and wants to become a valued part of their family.
 

They have described themselves as joyful, inquisitive and kind.
 

The family are offering up to £40k gross per year, based on an average of 30 hours per week across the year, with part-time hours during term time and full-time hours during the school holidays.

  • At least one year's experience working as a full-time nanny with children of a similar age

  • A current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certification
